Pride of St Helens – Courage Award 2018

Cosey Rentals had the honour of being the sponsor for the Pride of St Helens Courage awards on the 15th of November held in the Saints’ Totally Wicked stadium, in which we celebrated those who have faced adversity with resilience within our town.

We would like to congratulate Chris Carberry for winning the Cosey Rentals Courage Award, it was truly deserved. Chris was diagnosed with osteosarcoma, a rare form of bone cancer, in 2015 and lost his leg and a third of his lung as well as needing to undergo gruelling treatment during his battle. We would like to also congratulate the other award nominees Barbara Challinor and Steven Higham as well as all other award nominees and winners that attended the ceremony.

We would also like to extend our gratitude to Invest St Helens who led the event in partnership with the Steve Prescott Foundation and the St Helens Star, as well as the evenings host Fraser Dainton. The ceremony was certainly an emotional and heartwarming experience.
